Waste Not, Wag A Lot: Homemade Dog Treats

Using everyday leftover food that may otherwise go to waste, we'll create healthy dog treats. Students need to bring a 9x13 inch baking sheet to take their treats home.

Paint an outdoor barn quilt that will last. It can be used indoors as well. Wood is not used. Your barn quilt blank is ready to have your design applied. Choose from 48+ patterns and a rainbow of colors the day of class. Designs range from simple to complex. You will need to bring yellow Delicate FrogTape (1.41 width is best-it can be purchased at a hardware store), hairdryer and a heavy-duty extension cord.

Learn a new skill in 2025! Kerri Hoppe is a passionate baker who will help you master the fundamentals of making handmade bread. All are invited to attend, whether you have little experience or possess culinary skills. Each class will focus on the consistency of the dough, different flours, baking techniques, kneading skills and how a loaf should look and feel. Each student will take home bread dough to bake. Register early; each class is limited to 10 students.

Buying a House in 2026: Step-by-Step
 

Are you interested in buying a house? What goes into it? In this class, Bernardo will go over tips and each step: how to know if the realtor is working for you or the seller, getting pre-approval through a bank and why that is important, what you need, and how to assure that you can get a loan, what makes a good home and a good deal, and how to ensure that you'll win in the long run and more. Bernardo will also be available to answer any questions students have.

Dawn From Crazytown Cookies will assist you as you create unique cookies of your own. Ten spring cookies will be baked and ready for you to customize. Wow your guests, family and friends with beautiful cookies you decorated yourself for any occasion. Class size is limited to 15.

Marilyn Schmit, master gardener, will present ways to keep your plants protected in winter along with other cold weather gardening advice. Identifying plants with your smart phone will be covered. A small evergreen holiday wreath for your kitchen window will be made in class. Part of the All Things Gardening Club series, a casual conversation garden club host by CCC Community Education.
