A continuation of JAPN 1103.The student will demonstrate increased proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing Japanese. The student will continue to explore important aspects of Japanese culture. Prerequisite: JAPN 1103 or instructor approval.

Acquisition of understanding, speaking, reading, and writing Japanese with consolidation of fundamental skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing Japanese. The student will explore significant aspects of Japanese culture. Prerequisite: JAPN 1213 with a grade of "C" or better or instructor approval.
