Class two is designed to advance and continue review of bead crimping and explore special projects.  Resin pendants and or wire wrapping are options. We will be working with wire to make a ring, 2 wire-wrapped pendants (one with and one without a hole), making a chain and pouring a few resin designs to be made into pendants. Advanced Genealogy Techniques

American Sign Language Level II

Level II: This advanced class reviews basic words and then quickly progresses to forming sentences and engaging in more complex communications. Ideal for those who have completed Level I or have some prior knowledge of ASL.

These classes teach American Sign Language (ASL) with a strong emphasis on deaf culture. Students will learn through immersive group conversations and interactions.

March Terrarium Workshop with The Vintageleaf Boutique

Join us for a hands-on terrarium-building workshop where you can unleash your creativity and learn the art of creating your own miniature garden. Perfect for beginners and experienced plant enthusiasts alike. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the workshop begins at 6:30 p.m. Join CCC and Grand Island’s own The Vintageleaf Boutique, which has been selling tropical houseplants, helping diagnose plant problems and providing other plant-related services since 2018. Workshops will be held at The Vintageleaf Boutique in Grand Island.

Arts and Crafts
2-by-2 Geometric Barn Quilt
In this class, you will paint a 2-by-2-foot ACM (aluminum composite material) outdoor barn quilt with outdoor paint. You do not need to be an artist and you do not need a barn to put it on-they go everywhere. Many colors to choose from. The Geometric Barn Quilt is a gridded blank that is compatible to 48 design options on a pattern board that is explained the day of class. Eight colors are included; if you wish to use more, it is $2 per container. NEW! Backyard Delight Chicken Barn Quilt 2 x 2

Learn step-by-step how to paint a long-lasting barn quilt. Bring yellow, delicate FrogTape (1.14”), a hairdryer and an extension cord. All other supplies are provided. Basic Dog Obedience
Train your dog to walk on a leash, sit down, come and stay on command. This 10-week course will build skills each week, including socializing with people and other dogs. Dogs must be at least six months old. Participants must bring a choke chain.
