Advanced Beekeeping Grand Island (AVOR-5000)

Advanced Beekeeping

This class will go further into the details of beekeeping. You will begin to work through the educational and experience aspects of beekeeping. Learn to document your hive and discover marketing ideas that will help promote hive-related products. This 10-month class will be a combination of lecture and hands-on activity in the field and will meet the second Tuesday of the month, February through November 2024. Students are responsible for the purchase of their equipment and beekeeping suit. A veil must worn while working the bees.

Beginning Beekeeping 

This hands-on class will introduce you to the skills needed to obtain optimum benefits for your hive. This 10-month class will meet the second Tuesday of the month, February through November 2024. You will learn about the types of bees, bee behaviors and current and best practices based on colony habits, hive designs and the importance of queens and flowers in your area. Crafters Retreat Yearlong Bundle
Grab your friends and enjoy monthly interruption-free weekends to finish your crochet, knitting, scrapbooking, quilting or artistic projects. You get space and time to accomplish all of your projects without the hassle of a long drive and the expense of lodging. We will lock the doors when you go home Friday night to keep your items safe. Return bright and early on Saturday and spend the day creating while enjoying and getting inspiration from your fellow crafters.
