Needle felting is a popular fiber craft in which wool fleece is sculpted using special barbed needles to stab it into shape. You will learn how to tangle and bind the fibers together to create an adorable owl. For ages 16 years and older.

Adult Chess Club and Tournament

This class is for anyone who would like to play chess and improve their game. Each week you will play other students and discover new types of chess. Steve will introduce you to three- and four-player chess, 3D chess and Chinese chess. The tournament will use traditional chess boards. Students can bring their own chess sets to class if desired. Limit 20 students.
Saturdays, October 12, 19, 26 & November 2, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. with the tournament on November 16, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., $49.

Tips for Using an Air Fryer
Joan Plummer, registered dietician at the Columbus Community Hospital, will discuss basic information on how to use an air fryer and types of food recommended for this type of cooking appliance. She will also cover reheating, defrosting, use of oils, parchment paper and so forth. A few recipes will  be prepared in class and sampled. Bring your questions.
