This course takes place Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 5pm-9pm, as a hybrid course

This course is for someone who is looking for an exciting, challenging, and rewarding career in healthcare. This program will provide training to prepare students with skills to assist the provider by preparing patients for examination and treatment, routine laboratory procedures, and diagnostic testing. Classes are taught in person and through online lectures, student laboratory, and clinical experiences. Upon successful completion of this course, you can sit for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant national exam (CCMA). Tuition includes textbook, exam fee, BLS certification, supplies, and criminal background/ drug screening. Prerequisites are required. Please contact the campus of your choice for more information. This course is certified by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Students are trained to perform a variety of blood collection methods using proper techniques and precautions. Classes are taught through in-person and online lectures, student laboratory, and through clinical experiences. NHA certification exam will be administered at the conclusion of the program. Tuition includes textbook, exam fee, supplies, BLS certification, and criminal background/drug screening. Internship/clinical experience included (hours may vary from course schedule).

Prerequisite: Attendance at an information session.
