This self-paced online course will explore the recent technological breakthroughs in wastewater treatment and reclamation for water reuse in which membrane treatment has emerged. Students will learn the basic understanding of membrane processes and their application in the water and wastewater industry. Topics include: membrane processes, construction/configuration, fouling processes, cleaning, system design, energy and cost considerations, and operational issues. This course is for individuals who perform supervision of persons permitted to enter restricted asbestos abatement areas. This program reviews critical topics associated with asbestos abatement activities, as well as responsibilities of the competent person for the asbestos project, consistent with current regulations.

This course relates to the general operation of the portable restroom business in Delaware. The course material covers pertinent federal/state environmental and DOT requirements for the portable restroom business and its peripheral activities. It includes operator licensing details, waste disposal requirements, safety in disinfectant handling, and covers the aesthetic issues pertaining to portable restroom industry. Concepts such as emergency preparedness for large- and small-scale catastrophic events in which portable restrooms may play an important role will also be examined.

This program is designed for individuals seeking to enhance their understanding of Salesforce and its application in business transformation, making them capable of identifying, analyzing, and implementing effective Salesforce solutions. 

Financial Assistance Available (WIOA, SEED+)

This course is certified by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Students are trained to perform a variety of blood collection methods using proper techniques and precautions. Classes are taught through in-person and online lectures, student laboratory, and through clinical experiences. NHA certification exam will be administered at the conclusion of the program. Tuition includes textbook, exam fee, supplies, BLS certification, and criminal background/drug screening. Internship/clinical experience included (hours may vary from course schedule).

Prerequisite: Attendance at an information session.
