The home school building trades program provides students with exposure to a wide variety of construction careers. Home School Program: Building Trades II is a continuation from Home School Program: Building Trades I. Topics include advanced carpentry, plumbing, basic electricity, introduction to welding, and tile and flooring installation. This class serves students aged 14-19, and students typically receive the “career pathway” credits required for graduation from their home-school network. Student must be associated with a home school organization. Home School Program: Building Trades I course is recommended, but not required.

Class will take place at the ITPC in Bridgeville, DE. Fridays, 9am - 2:30pm

This program provides students with exposure to a wide variety of construction careers. Topics include carpentry, plumbing, drywall installation and repair, flooring and tile installation, and blueprint reading in the fall, and welding, advanced carpentry, and electrical wiring in the spring. The entire 120-hour program will be delivered in two (2) 60-hour class sessions on Fridays, starting in the fall semester and finishing in the winter/spring. This class serves boys and girls ages 14-19, and students typically receive the “career pathway” credits required for graduation from their homeschool network. Students must be associated with a homeschool organization.
