This course will prepare students for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. Topics include: Comp TIA Network+, networking fundamentals, networking fundamentals, LAN Switching Technologies, configuring and troubleshooting Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), Routing Technologies, WAN Technologies, Infrastructure Services, Infrastructure Security, Infrastructure Management, and Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP). Students will also learn to troubleshoot and resolve issues with Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP), Frame- Relay, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and Network Address Translation (NAT). Also, students will be able to monitor network traffic using Syslog, SNMP, and Net Flow analytical applications.
