It emphasizes safe firearm handling and includes a supervised 25-round live-fire shoot with certified instructors. This class does not meet the requirements for Delaware CCDW license. Looking for something new to get you moving? Try cardio drumming. Students will beat a cardio ball with drumsticks along to energizing music and move soundtracks. This class helps improve flexibility, build muscular strength and endurance, reduce stress, and, most of all, is a fun way to meet new people. The course can be done standing or seated.

The central service technician is responsible for the procurement of surgical supplies and equipment.  They are responsible for decontaminating, cleaning, processing, assembling, sterilizing, storing, and distributing the medical devices and supplies needed in patient care, especially during surgery. Students will study theories on disinfection, cleaning and decontamination, infection prevention and control; sterilization processes; regulations and standards; safety; inventory management; and professional communication. Upon completion of the program and 400 internship hours, students will be eligible to sit for the Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) exam through the International Association of Healthcare Sterile Processing (HSPA).  Internship/clinical experience included (hours may vary from course schedule).

This course is certified by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Students are trained to perform a variety of blood collection methods using proper techniques and precautions. Classes are taught through in-person and online lectures, student laboratory, and through clinical experiences. NHA certification exam will be administered at the conclusion of the program. Tuition includes textbook, exam fee, supplies, BLS certification, and criminal background/drug screening. Internship/clinical experience included (hours may vary from course schedule).
