Saturday, 9am to 1pm, located at the ITPC in Bridgeville, DE 

Learn about your home or apartment’s electrical systems. This class has a strong emphasis on safety. The first part of the class will cover the design of a common home’s electrical system and where problem areas occur. Learn how to use common electrical diagnostic equipment to check voltage, continuity, and wiring faults. Lastly, you’ll learn hands on how to wire an outlet, a GFCI outlet, a switch, and a ceiling light safely. With any home series class, ask your instructor about any home repair you have in mind. It’s designed to be an open and friendly atmosphere to help you with your home or apartment. 

Please wear closed-toe shoes. Workwear is recommended. Refrigerator available to store lunch items.

Class will take place at the ITPC in Bridgeville, DE. Saturday, 9am to 1pm. 

Learn the basics of your home’s electrical system with a focus on safety. Explore problem areas, practice with diagnostic tools, and get hands-on experience wiring outlets, switches, and ceiling lights. With any home series class, ask your instructor about repairs you have in mind. Please wear closed-toe shoes, workwear is recommended, and a refrigerator is available for lunch items.
