Backyard Beekeeping: Beginner (EYO-001)

4/14-4/28 - Tuesdays - 6-8pm - In-Person

Honey bees are a wonderful addition to any backyard. Master and experienced beekeepers will provide the basics of beekeeping. Topics include equipment, how to get bees, what to do inside the hive, organic treatment options, and Delaware beekeeping requirements. This course also includes a hands-on field trip to a local apiary. Date for field trip (3 hours) will be discussed in class. Textbook will be provided.
