In-Person, 10/2 & 10/9 , Thursday, 5:30-8:30 p.m

This course is designed as safety and handling training for existing or interested owners who intend to apply for a Delaware license to carry a concealed firearm. Using visual aids, videos, and rubber training items, students will learn firearm identification, basic firearm care and handling, ammunition, safe storage, and proper shooting stance. Course will cover, in detail, firearm laws for owners (federal, state, and local) as well as Delaware laws on use of force in self-defense. A mandatory 100-round minimum live-fire shoot will be scheduled off site at a range organized by the instructor. (Range fee is not included in course tuition.) No real firearms will be used or demonstrated in the classroom during this course. This course meets Delaware requirements to apply for CCDW license. Minimum registration age is 21.
