EMT Hybrid in Council Bluffs from January 12, 2026- May 15, 2026 

Face to face portion is held on campus in Ashley Hall

Class will meet every Monday via Zoom from 6:00pm-9:00pm and every other Saturday, alternating between Zoom (9am-12pm) and Face-to-Face (9am-4pm) in Ashley Hall. The EMT course emphasizes the development of student skills in a patient assessment-based program, recognition of signs and symptoms regarding illness or injury and the proper procedures when rendering emergency care to the sick or injured. Students will be required to complete clinical/field internship.

January 12, 2026, to May 15, 2026, at the, IWCC Clarinda Campus 923 E Washington Street
MUST HAVE BLS PROVIDER BEFORE CLASS STARTS
This class will be held on Monday and Thursdays from 6:00pm-10:00pm
EMT course emphasizes the development of student skills in a patient assessment-based program, recognition of signs and symptoms regarding illness or injury and proper procedures when rendering emergency care to the sick or injured. Students will also be required to complete 36 hours of field internship and 24 hours of ER internship.

Traditional EMT class held from January 12, 2026- May 15, 2026 in Council Bluffs on Monday and Thursdays. Class will be held in Ashley Hall.

January 6, 2026 at the IWCC Harlan Campus- 1901 Hawkeye Avenue.

This class will be held on Monday and Thursdays from 6:00pm-10:00pm and on every other Saturday from 9:00am-4:00pm.

BLS provider must be obtained before classes starts.

This class will be held on Tuesday and Thursdays from 4:00pm-10:00pm and on every other Saturday from 9:00am-4:00pm.

Traditional EMT class from January 12, 2026- May 15, 2026 in Atlantic 

The EMT course emphasizes the development of student skills in a patient assessment-based program, recognition of signs and symptoms regarding illness or injury and the proper procedures when rendering emergency care to the sick or injured. Students will be required to complete clinical/field internship.

This class will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00pm-10:00pm. 

This course will be organized to provide the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) student with the knowledge of the acute and critical changes in physiology, psychological, and clinical symptoms as they pertain to the prehospital emergency care of the infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient. Students shall have an opportunity to acquire clinical and field experience. BLS provider card needs to be completed before class.
