Young artists, beginners or intermediate will be introduced to the exciting world of urban sketching and plein air (outdoor) watercolor painting. Learning how to observe the world, sketch what is seen, and add color using watercolor techniques. Hands on projects, tips and techniques for adding people to your sketching, and designed to spark imagination and build confidence.  At the end of the day, you will take home everything needed to continue your artistic adventure. Travel plein air mini palette, filled with professional grade watercolors, magnetic water tin, urban sketch book, and paint brush.  Camp tuition includes $15 fee for take home supplies.
This program is open to individuals who will be in 9th - 12th grade during the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

Water bath canning is one of the easiest and most accessible ways to begin preserving food at home. In this class, you’ll learn how to safely can high-acid foods such as fruits, jams, jellies, and pickled vegetables. We’ll cover preparation techniques, proper acidity levels, processing times, and sealing methods to ensure long-term success. This class is perfect for beginners as well as those looking to refine their skills. Participants will gain hands-on experience and leave with the confidence to preserve seasonal abundance using simple, proven methods.
