When fall rolls around, apple pie is an obvious dessert-----bursting with fresh, soft apples and a crispy crust. In this class we will showcase different ways we love to make the most of apple season. Best part of the class…you go home with baked goods!

This course is the basic course on understanding dealer responsibilities. This class will serve as a refresher course and will teach the requirements of being an auto dealer in Iowa and how to maintain a dealer’s license. Updates on changes to state and federal law, rules and regulations will be provided.  The trainer will discuss new laws enacted during the most recent legislative session impacting auto dealers as well as providing new information from federal and state agencies pertaining to the auto industry.  Dealers will be encouraged to bring forth areas of concern to assist with possible solutions to these concerns. Dealers will review videos from the staff of the Iowa Department of Transportation Bureau of Investigation and Identity Protection and the Consumer Protection Division of the Iowa Attorney General’s office. This class meets Thursday from 10am to 3pm.  This course will enable individuals to instruct AHA BLS and Heartsaver courses according to AHA standards.
Prerequisites:
Have a current AHA BLS Provider Certification. The provider card must be good for 6 months after date of instructor course and presented to the instructor at the start of class.
Be proficient in skills of CPR/AED.
Complete the BLS Instructor Essentials online course and bring certificate to class.
You must contact Sue Wiese at swiese@iwcc.edu or 712.325.3255 at least 2 weeks prior to start date of class to register and receive materials. Instructor manuals included.
