This 40-hour course prepares you to function as an ECG Technician in a wide variety of settings including hospitals, physician’s offices, clinics, sport medicine facilities, nursing homes, and insurance companies. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be eligible to sit for the ASPT National certification exam. ESL 2A is a 36-hour program that provides intermediate English learners with the opportunity to develop the skills needed to excel in their personal and/or professional lives.

Monday & Wednesday, 6:00pm-8:00pm; Workforce Training Center - Virtual

This introductory course demystifies the field of instructional design and its career paths. Participants learn how to build learner personas, write measurable learning objectives, storyboard content, and explore learning management systems and authoring tools. Each student works with a real or simulated project so they can immediately apply core concepts and leave with tangible artifacts for their portfolio or teaching practice.

Hybrid instruction. This course is a pre-requisite to the Alternate Route to Teaching-Community College program at Brookdale Community College.  The course includes 30 hours of instruction plus 20 hours of observational and clinical experiences in teaching and learning settings.  Students who wish to pursue a CE or a Limited CE must hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75 (prior to 2016) or 3.0 (after 2016).

Upon completion of this course, students will have an understanding of the entertainment industry, including its various stages of production, job opportunities and professional expectations in film and television. Students will acquire knowledge and skills to pursue entry-level positions in the industry, specific terminology, how a creative project moves from script to screen, with emphasis on industry standards, practices and procedures and on-set safety protocols. This class is a pre-requisite for all of NJ Film Academy courses including Intro to Hair & Makeup for Film & TV Class

This 6-week introductory course is designed specifically for healthcare professionals with little to no prior experience with Spanish. Participants will build a foundation in the language with a focus on practical vocabulary, phrases, and cultural insights that are directly applicable to medical and clinical settings. By the end of the course, students will be able to greet patients, gather basic information, and provide simple instructions in Spanish, fostering clearer communication and improved patient care.
