This course explores ethical issues in physical therapy clinical education and is geared toward physical therapists and physical therapist assistants who work with students in the clinical setting. The course satisfies the ethics requirement for Minnesota state licensure for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. The hybrid course is offered in a two-part series including a 1-hour asynchronous portion and a 1.25 hour synchronous online portion. The course is sponsored by the St. Catherine University PTA and DPT Programs.

 

This one-hour asynchronous training will prepare preceptors for their role in providing nursing students with a comprehensive clinical experience that supports clinical judgment, skill development, meets program expectations, and encourages a holistic approach to nursing care.
