INSTRUCTOR: Becky Perry
This course is designed for those who know nothing or very little about computers. You will learn the history and basic components of a computer and software, such as Microsoft Windows. Some topics will include a brief introduction to office productivity software such as word processors, spreadsheets, and databases but we will also cover some of the basics like email and web browsers we use to 'surf the internet'. We will talk about how to avoid scams, protect your computer with anti-virus software, and will cover some simple troubleshooting for those times when your printer, mouse, or computer just won't work.
