Welcome to the registration site for UCNJ Union College of Union County, NJ Continuing Education and Workforce Development Courses.

The Senior Scholar program is funded by the Union County Board of County Commissioners. These complimentary courses are available to Union County residents who are 60+ years old. Early enrollment is encouraged due to limited class availability. Please note: classes with a fee are NOT part of the Senior Scholar program.

Pharmacy Technician (AEHL-955)

The Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in the allied health field. Working under the supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technicians assist in dispensing prescriptions in retail and private pharmacies. Employment opportunities exist in retail and mail-order pharmacies, hospitals and assisted living facilities.  This course will prepare you to enter the field and take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board exam. Course content includes medications (classification, storage, side effects of, and more); federal and state requirements; patient safety and quality assurance; order entry and processing.
