Welcome to the registration site for UCNJ Union College of Union County, NJ Continuing Education and Workforce Development Courses.

The Senior Scholar program is funded by the Union County Board of County Commissioners. These complimentary courses are available to Union County residents who are 60+ years old. Early enrollment is encouraged due to limited class availability. Please note: classes with a fee are NOT part of the Senior Scholar program.

Building Inspector, ICS (AEIC-202)

This program covers building construction, foundation design, wood and steel frame construction, 
fire resistance rating, requirements for building subcode, testing materials and uniform construction code.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Building Inspector R.C.S. (75 hrs)

Building Inspector, RCS (AEIC-102)

This course covers the following: structural systems, structural designs and analysis techniques, fire protection systems, systems design and installation practices, mechanical systems, general requirements of electrical and plumbing sub-codes, and plan review and field inspection. (90 hrs.)
