The Senior Scholar program is funded by the Union County Board of County Commissioners. These complimentary courses are available to Union County residents who are 60+ years old. Chair/Barre For Seniors 60+

This class is based on principles of Stretch and Pilates, seated with a chair or on the floor as well as standing with the barre or chair. Students will learn different stretches and movements using therabands, beginning with the shoulders down to the feet. Students will move to the floor to strengthen their core, back and feet. Students will also work on balance and stability. There will be constant feedback during class and a five-minute question and answer period at the end of each session.
