The comprehensive Certified Real Estate Appraiser (CREA) Program provides training in appraisal techniques, principles, and regulatory compliance to prepare participants for certification and career advancement.

The program begins with a specialized two-session virtual course led by a USVI-based attorney, focusing on the legal framework and requirements, and a local realtor focused on property laws, regulations, and legal considerations essential for conducting compliant property valuations in the USVI jurisdiction.

In collaboration with McKissock Learning, a pioneer in appraisal education since 1990, individuals will take three self-paced courses. These self-paced McKissock Learning courses (Basic Appraisal Principles, Basic Appraisal Procedures, and the National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice course) provide an in-depth look at basic appraisal principles.

This program is structured to conform to the Appraiser Qualifications Board's criteria that must be completed to become a Real Estate Appraiser trainee. This program is also a foundational requirement for all levels of licensing and certification for Real Estate Appraisers.
