Requisitos para la Certificación:

HVAC/R Simulations for Field Technicians offers a rich, hands-on learning experience that mimics field performance in a completely online environment. You will practice servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting common HVAC/R scenarios in true-to-life service call simulations.

 

You will work through approximately 200 scenarios to master seven pieces of HVAC/R equipment – Gas Furnace, Oil Furnace, Gas Boiler, Split Residential A/C, Commercial A/C, Heat Pumps, and Commercial Walk-in Freezers. Your skills and knowledge are then put to the test in 12 ungraded assessment simulations. If you need to sharpen your diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, this online course is ideal.

Upon successful completion of HVAC/R 1, 2 & 3 courses, students will be prepared to sit for the North American Technician Excellence (NATE) national certification exam to become a Certified HVAC/R Technician. NATE also strongly suggests at least one year of experience.

En este curso de HVAC/R, mejorarás tu nivel de inglés y aprenderás vocabulario y conceptos académicos que te prepararán para convertirte en técnico de HVAC/R y comenzar tu carrera profesional.

 

También tendrás acceso a muchos otros cursos de gran interés en el catálogo de cursos de EnGen, además de cursos creados específicamente para la formación de técnicos HVAC/R que se ajustan a los conocimientos de inglés que necesitarás a medida que avanzas en tu programa de formación.

 

Para comenzar tu programa, debes realizar la Evaluación de Competencia, también conocida como PA. El PA es una evaluación de nivelación, y nos ayuda a saber el nivel de inglés que tienes actualmente. Si tu puntuación en la Evaluación de Competencia fue Beginner, High Beginner, Low Intermediate, o Intermediate, comenzarás con tu programa EnGen trabajando primero en tus habilidades de inglés.

 

Cuando alcances el nivel High Intermediate, podrás inscribirte en Ed2go. Volverás a realizar el PA cada 60 días.

 

Para que puedas comenzar tu programa de formación de HVAC/R en inglés necesitarás alcanzar al menos el nivel High Intermediate en la evaluación de competencia dentro de los seis meses posteriores a la inscripción.

 

***REQUISITO PREVIO: Podrás comenzar tu programa ed2go de Técnico Certificado en HVAC/R tan pronto como alcances el nivel High Intermediate en la Evaluación de Competencia (PA) en la plataforma de EnGen. Volverás a realizar el PA cada 60 días hasta que alcances un nivel de inglés High Intermediate.

 

Al finalizar este curso, los estudiantes serán capaces de:

  • Dirigido a estudiantes que desean mejorar sus conocimientos de inglés en relación con los sistemas de calefacción, ventilación, aire acondicionado y refrigeración (HVAC/R) con el fin de prepararse para trabajar como técnico de HVAC/R.
