**Class Drop Policy: Drops for workshops must be completed before the first day of class. A student who registers for a workshop and fails to attend will not be refunded. If you would like to withdraw from a workshop please sign into your student portal on training.gtc.edu, submit a request, and “Withdrawal from program.” All Withdrawals will be reviewed for processing and refunds may take between 5-15 business days

In this course, participants expand their natural hair color knowledge with techniques tailored to textured hair. They analyze the unique needs of natural hair before coloring. Participants examine the application of safe lifting and toning methods that protect hair health and curl integrity. They assess proper preparation steps for performing color maintenance strategies. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to safely formulate and execute customized color services for textured and natural hair while preserving its health and structure.

Guitar Bulding (GUITAR BUILDING)

This session will combine both build by kit, and free build it is an open session. This Workshop will combine Kit or Free build of guitars, depending on your preference. You will learn to use the ShopBot CNC router, and can customize your guitar with 3D printing and Laser as well. It runs the full semester but due to Fab Lab events must occasionally alter days. There are Open Lab sessions associated with the Workshop as well. Feel free to bring family members, or build with a friend or child.
