Planning a Native Landscape (001-412E)

In this course, participants evaluate soil, sunlight, drainage, and existing site conditions
to guide native plant selection. They apply basic design principles to create functional and
visually appealing landscape layouts. Participants select regionally appropriate species for
ecological benefit and seasonal interest. They outline installation steps and identify long-term
maintenance practices. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to create a
practical plan for establishing and maintaining a native landscape.
