"Advanced 3D Printing Concepts" (FAB LAB 3D )

18+ years old: In this 1.5 hour workshop participants will receive a comprehensive explanation of Cura, the software used by most entry level 3D printers. Participants will learn how to add new printers, customize settings, how to set up profiles, and a review of each print setting, what they do, and how to change them for best results. The workshop will teach the correct setup and capabilities of the Dremel 3D40 and 3D45 printers. Participants will be allowed to download and print 3D models from websites such as thingiverse.com.

*Max of 250g filament used. Additional filament sold by the grams are available for sale for $0.04/gram + 10% of total (Shop fee).

Introduction to Fab Lab (INTRO TO FAB LAB)

18+ years old: This five hour two session workshop, and accompanying open Labs introduces you to some of the basic equipment in a Fab Lab. It also provides you with some background on Fab Labs and their use in education, and the community. Learn to set up and run Dremel 3D printers, Epilog Laser, the Roland GX 24 Vinyl cutting machine and ShopBot desktop CNC.
