The work to effectively engage with diverse populations begins with the commitment to self-work. This seminar will ensure current and prospective educators understand historical and systemic issues through exploration of personal responsibility, narratives, reflection, and healing.
Possible Outcomes: Analyze self-assessment of views and perceptions; Identify the intersectionality of ethnic identities, experiences, personal and collective healing; Identify racism as a form of historical trauma.
