An introduction to American Sign Language (ASL) which includes the development of receptive and expressive skills in authentic situations and an introduction to Deaf culture.  This intro course in ASL uses a natural language approach to introduce culturally appropriate signed concepts related to the immediate environment. Common communicative events and interactions are utilized to acquire a basic working vocabulary and grammar. The course includes the development of appropriate linguistic/cultural behaviors and awareness of respect for Deaf culture.  Receptive and expressive skills are fostered through interactive ASL lessons without voice.

This class is an online, accelerated 8 week class with the equivalent of 3 credit hours.

Emphasis is on the comprehension and production of increasingly complex linguistic structures focusing on dialogues and conversational expressions. More complex receptive and expressive skills are fostered through interactive ASL lessons without spoken English. Prerequisite: ASLE 1363 with a grade of "C" or better or instructor approval.

Earners of the Basics of Additive Manufacturing micro-credential will understand the core additive manufacturing concepts and practices including: additive manufacturing processes, safety, materials, software, and supply chain, plus methods like Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), material jetting, and binder jetting. They will have basic computer-aided design (CAD) skills required to create a simple 3D-printed part. They will also print a part on a 3D printer by incorporating the additive manufacturing workflow, which is comprised of modeling, STL file generation, slicing, printing, and post-processing. The Basics of Additive Manufacturing micro-credential will be awarded if the learner successfully completes all 12 online Tooling U-SME courses with an exit test score of at least 75% and completes Tulsa Community College’s ENGT 1213 Introduction to Fabrication Lab course with a grade of “C” or better.

The beginning student will acquire fundamental proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing French. The student will also explore important aspects of French and Francophone culture.

An introduction to basic proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing Japanese. The student will also explore important aspects of Japanese culture.

This introductory course is designed for adult learners with little to no prior experience in Spanish. Students will develop basic communication skills through speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Topics include greetings, numbers, everyday vocabulary, simple grammar, and common expressions used in travel and daily conversation. Emphasis is placed on practical usage and cultural awareness to build a strong foundation for further study.

Google’s Data Analytics certificate provides training for those who want to process and analyze data to help make business decisions. It focuses on skills for entry-level roles, such as associate data analyst, junior data scientist, data technician, and marketing analyst.

Course content includes using data to solve problems and data storytelling with visualizations. Participants use spreadsheets, SQL and Tableau.

This micro-credential demonstrates core workplace skills for manufacturing careers. Earners develop effective communication, professionalism, punctuality, conflict resolution, and job interview readiness through  courses focused on career awareness and interpersonal success. The Manufacturing Workforce Essentials micro-credential will be awarded if the learner successfully completes all 8 online Tooling U-SME courses with an exit test score of at least 75%.

This micro-credential validates foundational soldering skills for entry-level careers in manufacturing and electronics. Earners gain expertise in soldering safety, standards, equipment, material selection, PCB soldering, and blueprint reading, and will be able to demonstrate soldering in practice through labs. The Soldering Essentials micro-credential will be awarded if the learner successfully completes all 7 online Tooling U-SME courses with an exit test score of at least 75% and completes Tulsa Community College’s ENGT 1213 Introduction to Fabrication Lab course with a grade of “C” or better.
