Continuation of American Sign Language I. This course further develops receptive and expressive skills in American Sign Language in authentic situations and expands the study of Deaf culture. This course progresses from common, concrete communicative events and interactions to language expressing abstract ideas. Emphasis is on the comprehension and production of increasingly complex linguistic structures focusing on dialogues and conversational expressions. More complex receptive and expressive skills are fostered through interactive ASL lessons without spoken English. Prerequisite: ASLE 1363 or instructor approval.

This course is for those whose Foodservice Manager Certificate has been expired for less than 6 months. The class updates and refreshes about safe food techniques. The ServSafe exam is nationally recognized by ANSI-CFP and certification is good for five years. A legal and valid picture ID must be presented before the exam. Tests are available in several languages: English, Spanish, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Modern Chinese, and must be requested at the time of enrollment. The study guide and test are included with registration.
