Street Photography
Explore the art and practice of capturing candid moments, people, and environments in public spaces. This hands-on course develops the visual awareness and photographic reflexes needed to recognize and capture compelling images in the ever-changing world of the street.
Students will learn techniques for working with changing ambient light, approaches for photographing strangers with confidence, and strategies for creating engaging visual narratives from everyday surroundings. The course includes a half-day classroom session followed by a half-day street photography practicum in Broken Arrow, where students will put their skills into practice. Photographs from the practicum will be shared online for group review and discussion.
