Prerequisite: Photography 1 is required or instructor approval.   In order to understand how Lightroom can be used the student needs a good understanding of the Histogram (broken down: Blacks, Shadows, Midtones, Highlights and Whites).
 

Want to take your photography to a new level and turn them into works of art? Stop using in-camera processed JPGs. When you use RAW files and process them in Adobe Lightroom you are opening a world of new possibilities for your photos. You will learn the many different tools available in Lightroom such as lightening, darkening, softening, filters, converting images to black and white, and many more. Students must have a digital DSLR (or mirrorless) camera with full manual capability to all classes.  Required: Adobe Lightroom Classic, the desktop version.  If you have questions please contact the instructor prior to the start of classes.

Don't put your camera away just because it's dark outside - join us for an adventure in night photography! In classroom and field trip sessions, take pictures that you never dreamed possible.  We will venture out into the night life of Tulsa. Prerequisite:   Photography 1 & 2 or instructor approval   **Must be proficient in manual mode.  We will learn how to take long exposure photography. REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:  Manually adjustable DSLR or mirrorless camera.  ADDITIONAL PREFERRED EQUIPMENT: Interchangeable lenses and a tripod. Class requirements:  The student MUST know the exposure triangle, how to work in manual mode and an understanding of shutter speed.

In our final installation of TCC Continuing Education's General Photography series you will learn more complex techniques of portrait photography and lighting placement. This course will include subjects like High Dynamic Range Photography, Macro Photography, and other specific areas of interest expressed by

students as they progress through all three courses. Attention will also be given to further instruction in digital editing techniques. Completing these courses should provide the student with the ability to move forward in any photographic area of interest.

Ready to take that next step toward taking professional level photographs? TCC's Photography Level 2 will introduce you to the techniques of basic portraiture in both indoor and outdoor venues. You will also receive an introduction to studio lighting, including using both constant light and studio flash equipment. Students will receive a basic introduction to digital editing and methods for protecting their photographic images. Mastery of these necessary skills will improve your photography and are essential to your future success in more advanced photographic endeavors.
