Covers Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), aerodynamics, night and high-altitude operations, GPS navigation and weight and balance computations. Required Part 141 and Part 61 training in preparation for the FAA Commercial Pilot Airplane Knowledge Test. Knowledge Test administered off-site and requires an additional external fee. Knowledge Test is not a mandatory requirement to complete this course.

The Instrument Flight Lessons combined with the Instrument Panel Ground School will help put you on your way towards the Part 61 certification and  will help you expand your horizons! Our advanced Cessna 172S G1000 aircraft are ready to fly.

The Private Pilot Ground School complies with the requirements of the Federal Aviation Regulations Part 141 and Part 61 aeronautical knowledge training preparing the student for the Private Pilot Certificate. Students will receive the required ground training in order to test for the Private Pilot Airplane Knowledge Test. This test requires an additional external cost. The Professional Pilot majors must comply with Tulsa Community College's FAA approved Training Course Outline. Course permission will be required for enrollment in this course.
