This course is designed to meet the requirements of the Tulsa Food Code. Each food service establishment must have personnel who are certified in food safety. This certification ensures that foodservice supervisory personnel possess safe techniques knowledge for all areas of foodservice. The ServSafe exam is nationally recognized by ANSI-CFP and certification is good for five years. A legal and valid picture ID must be presented before the exam. Tests are available in several languages: English, Spanish, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Modern Chinese, and must be requested at the time of enrollment. The study guide and test are included with registration.
